Modular Mechanical Seals

APS offers a faster pipe-sealing method than conventional caulk, grout, or mastic with USA-manufactured Innerlynx® Modular Mechanical Seals. Innerlynx® provide a systematic method for installers to seal the annular space between a carrier pipe and the inside diameter of a wall penetration.

Innerlynx® are designed to absorb vibration, shock, and sound waves, acting as a sound dampener while electrically isolating the carrier pipe from the penetrated structure.

Made from synthetic rubber with industrial-strength, U.S.-manufactured pressure plates, Innerlynx® are available in 21 sizes for pipe diameters ranging from 1/2″ to 144″. They form a hydrostatic seal rated up to 40 psig and 92.28 feet of head pressure. Five models are available for different applications.

Innerlynx® Models

Model UL — UL-approved, 3-hour fire-rated proprietary silicone. Suitable for fire-resistant applications and the only UL-approved modular mechanical seal on the U.S. market.

Model C — Standard EPDM. Suitable for most standard applications, including above-ground projects and direct underground burial in wet conditions.

Model L — Low-durometer EPDM. Suitable for conduit, insulated pipe, copper pipe, and thin-walled pipe.

Model O — Oil-, gas-, and fuel-resistant nitrile. Suitable for most hydrocarbons, oils, hydraulic fluids, jet fuels, gasoline, chemicals, and solvents.

Model T — Extreme-temperature silicone. Suitable for temperatures up to 400°F.

Wall Sleeves

Advance Products & Systems, LLC offers several wall-sleeve options, including Gal-Vo-Plast® coated steel sleeves, lightweight HDPE Infinity® wall sleeves, External Mount Split Wall Sleeves, and other materials. APS wall sleeves are designed to pair with Innerlynx® seals for leak-free performance. Each model is available with a water stop that anchors the sleeve, prevents thrust movement, and provides positive water sealing.

– Designed for poured-concrete barriers to create circular penetrations through walls, floors, and ceilings.
– Manufactured with a 2″ water stop for a better seal than a core-drilled hole.
– Allows pipes to be repaired without damaging the wall.
– Helps prevent costly wall damage caused by mechanical or utility piping vibration.

Innerlynx® Test Ports

APS manufactures a patent-pending pressure-monitoring port integrated into the Innerlynx® Modular Mechanical Seal assembly. The test port does not compromise sealing performance and can be used to test or monitor the operating pressure of an Innerlynx® application. APS supplies the test port only.

– 1/8″ National Pipe Thread (NPT) nipple TIG-welded to the head side.
– Requires a deep-well socket for installation.
– Rated at 40 psig and tested at 92 feet of head pressure.
– Constructed from 316 stainless steel.
